ANTH 2351: CULTURAL ANTHROPOLOGY
Course Description
This course introduces students to the elements and processes that create culture, society and social interaction. Language, cross-cultural communication, fieldwork, and analysis of multi-cultural societies are covered. A special emphasis is given to cross-cultural comparison and analysis of basic social institutions on a global scale in order to provide students with an appreciation and understanding of the underlying unity of diverse cultural expressions.
