My name is Benja Allen, and I have been full-time faculty at El Centro College since 1983. At that time, I planned to know everything there was to know about the human body before I retired. As you can see from my picture, I don’t think there is going to be enough time left for me to accomplish this goal before I die. Still, I am going to keep on trying! While I don’t expect you to know everything about the human body, if you are going into the health occupations, you need a good basic understanding of how the normal human body works. I will do my best to help you accomplish this. You will find every bit of the information in the SCIT courses valuable to you at some point in your health career. Learn it well, I might be the patient that you will be working on!
