How I teach
My courses are completely online. Courses are graded on four exams over the readings and PowerPoint slides from the textbook, weekly quizzes over online films, weekly labs, and two lab exams.  All assignments are provided in the syllabus at the beginning of the semester, and students need to be willing to keep up with the weekly assignments, as I rarely accept late assignments.

Information about me
I also teach full-time at a school in Mesquite. You may also see me occasionally on the weekends on Texas Cable News (TXCN) doing the weather. I'm a meteorologist, and before I began teaching full-time, I spent 9 years in television as a broadcast meteorologist. My last full-time weather job was with TXCN and Channel 8 in Dallas. (I go by Nancy Snell on the air.)  TXCN still asks me to help out every once in awhile, which is a lot of fun! You may ask yourself why I got out of the business- well, short and simple- would you like waking up every weekend morning at 2 a.m.? After years of no regular schedule and working every weekend, it was time to get out!  Other than work, my hobbies include spending time with my husband and family, running, traveling, and watching football (mainly Cowboys) and the Red Sox.
