How to get an unofficial Degree Plan

I suggest that you print this page and use it as a guide to get your unofficial Degree Plan through eConnect. [Remember, this will save you time when you go to El Centro Counseling to get your official Degree Plan.]

  1. Go to the eConnect login page (links to this page are on home pages of El Centro College or the DCCCD.
  2. Click on the red box: Current Credit Student Menu (even if you are a Continuing Education student).
  3. Under My eConnect Account click Log in
  4. Login using your Student ID number and your eConnect password (not your eCampus password).
[Forgot your Student ID? go back to the Log In page and under Help For New Users click on Get My Student/Employee ID
[Forgot your password? go back to the Log In page and under Help for Returning Users click on: Forgot/Reset My Password.]
  5. Under My Personal Information click on My Degree Plan
  6. You'll see a rectangular box that says: "Choose a program form the following:" Click on the little down arrow on the right to see a long list of possible programs.
  7. Scroll down the list of possible programs to: Conflict Management Specialist (2006-2007) - [C1-C.CONFL.MGMT] and click Submit
  8. You'll see My Degree Plan Select a Catalog Year. Click in the little check box for 2007 and WAIT for your degree plan to load on your computer.
  9. You'll see a copy of your UNofficial degree plan. Print it. When you finish printing your unofficial Degree Plan log out of eConnect.
  10. Take your unofficial Degree Plan with you to the El Centro College Counseling Division (1st floor of A Building) and give it to a counselor or academic advisor who will help you to file an OFFICIAL degree plan.
  11. NOTE: If you don't understand the unofficial degree plan you have printed, don't worry - your counselor or academic advisor should know what to do with it. But you may have to explain to him or her that the Conflict Management Specialist program is NOT a degree program; it is a Certificate Program.
